Organizing knowledge in the field of knowledge management

This awareness and training program aims to organize knowledge in the field of knowledge management. Successfully implementing and managing knowledge management is central here. Just as we have awareness and training programs in the areas of, for example, protecting personal data and smart contracting, we also have programs in the field of knowledge management itself. It consists of three (sub)programs, namely awareness of the necessity and importance of knowledge management, the design, development and management of training programs and the use or application of knowledge management.

A program is aimed at developing knowledge of a role, has a learning path and consists of courses. We know from experience that organizing knowledge management is – ultimately – a company-specific matter. The program we present here helps companies set up and develop knowledge management themselves.

Why knowledge management?

Management and employees perform their tasks better if they can follow training programs and gain knowledge. Students develop their knowledge better and faster with logical learning paths as part of knowledge management. For company management and management, knowledge management is an instrument to help employees and students perform better or to implement necessary changes properly and according to a plan.

With the knowledge, management and employees manage business processes more effectively. Adequate knowledge management is essential for ensuring business continuity. See also Business case for applying company-specific learning environment and awareness and training programs. Do you use your company-specific learning environment? Then this program is always included. Our professionals maintain – based on their experiences – the categories of courses and training programs of the knowledge management program.

You wish to organize knowledge management and you are considering using a company-specific learning environment.

  • (A) In your company-specific learning environment you manage your own programs and learning paths for (departmental) roles. Using the logistics of your company-specific learning environment, you present the programs to management and employees in detail, organize the courses and measure knowledge development; and
  • (B) In your company-specific learning environment, you design, develop and manage your courses. A program uses courses.

Below we provide the correlation between programs for roles (B) and courses (A) again. The training manager organizes knowledge management in collaboration with training coordinators in departments. Employees fulfill certain roles to which programs are linked.

Implement change processes successfully

We develop the knowledge management awareness and training program for a company. We have a training manager, the department training coordinators and the employees. The department coordinator makes employees aware of the need for knowledge management. For this purpose, the coordinator uses the knowledge management awareness program. After following the program and courses, employees request additional training to successfully implement change processes according to plan.

Organizing knowledge

Do you want to raise and maintain the knowledge level of employees in their role at the right level? Awareness training is needed to show employees in their role that they must have the right level of knowledge to properly perform their tasks.

Designing and Managing training programs

After following awareness programs, employees will ask you for more (background) knowledge about knowledge management. Based on this knowledge, employees prepare for knowledge development in the service of the department, themselves and the business organization. The company uses or designs, builds and manages categories of courses that enable training programs.

Utilizing knowledge management

The knowledge management programs serve the purpose of building knowledge among students or employees to create an ambitious career perspective or among management and employees to successfully implement changes in the business organization.

Practical example

A company that rents out holiday homes applies knowledge management to organize the cleaning and maintenance of holiday homes. See retaining and passing on knowledge. Organizing the cleaning of holiday homes is a strategic and essential activity. If this is not done properly, guests will stay away or leave negative comments on social media.

We would like to discuss with you what ambitions you have when it comes to knowledge management and how you can prepare and utilize knowledge management for your company.
